What are mulifocal contact lenses

As name itself says, "MULTI" means multiple "FOCAL" means distance. A contact lens with
which a person with presbyopia (a condition in which, a person aged above 40, starts having
problem in reading small prints at 25-35cm distance in low light), can wear it to see multiple
distances clearly. They need not to put on separate reading glasses to see near
vision(Distace of 25-35cms from the eyes) clear.
Recommended especially for people who have distance spherical power and those who
don't like to keep their spectacle glasses on.  
(NOTE: Multifocal contact lenses are not available for Astigmatic prescriptions)
